The Recycling Factory event, organised at the Merikaapelihalli of Helsinki’s Cable Factory on 24 and 25 April 2010, offers visitors a goods market, sales market and information market, along with workshops and shows. More than 70 exhibitors, including recycling and environmental organisations as well as design companies, are represented at the event.
The Goods Market operates on the principle of “bring & take”. Throughout the weekend, you can bring clothes, toys, books and other household goods that are fit for use to the market. You can take with you anything you need.
The Sales Market has clothes, jewellery and bags made of recycled materials to offer, as well as organic products.
Do-it-yourself workshops offer an opportunity to show your skills in making a piece of jewellery for Mother’s Day. The Information Market is the forum for learning more about environmental and recycling organisations.
