Sat-Sun at 8am-6pm

Plese note: external doors are closed on 10.-13.4.

Cable Factory is open every day. Staircases B, C, D and E house galleries, and staircase G three museums. In the main lobby, you find the restaurant Hima & Sali. Cable Factory shop / Info helps you to find your way around the building.

  • Cable factory area is a private area.
  • There are 8 parking spaces available for 24 hours a day in the inner courtyard of Cable Factory.
  • You need a special parking permit issued by Cable Factory for parking spaces numbered 1-11 in the inner yard as well as for parking lots (4 pcs) reserved for repair and maintenance purposes. The parking lots will be removed due to contruction work.
  • There are two disabled parking spaces marked with a wheelchair sign in the inner yard of Cable Factory. Free parking for the disabled is allowed only at these marked places and the allowed time. Two disabled parking spaces in the courtyard will remain in use throughout the construction phase.
  • Parking for exportation and importation of goods is permitted close to the doors in the inner yard for a maximum of 15 minutes. Parking for loading and unloading of goods is not allowed in the parking spaces where a valid parking ticket is required unless the fee has been paid.
  • On Tammasaarenkatu next to Cable Factory, there are Cable Factory’s own payable public parking spaces Mon-Fre at 6 pm-12pm and Sat-Sun at 8am-12 pm. Ticket machines are located at Cable Factory's seafront and at the museum corner. At other times, these parking spaces are reserved for Cable Factory and require a valid car parking permit. Easypark application, credit cards and coins are used as payment in ticket machines.
  • The city of Helsinki has public parking spaces around Cable Factory. There are several payment options available in the ticket machines. Ruoholahti shopping centre offers about 1,500 payable parking spaces.


There is a ramp at the main entrance providing access to, for example, Cable Factory shop / Info, Merikaapelihalli, the restaurant, Puristamo and staircase C. Another ramp is also located at the door to the museums. Pannuhalli and Turbiinisali can be accessed without impediment from outdoors. Valssaamo and Zodiak can be accessed by wheelchair using the elevator in staircase B. The event producers are responsible for accessibility with a wheelchair as well as entrance routes.
