Catalysti presents: 2084
CATALYSTI PRESENTS: 2084, A LARGE EXHIBITION AND FESTIVAL
1.-13.10.2020, Valssaamo, Kaapelitehdas
What will power look like, feel like and sound like in the future?
2084 is an exhibition that takes place in the present and speculates on the role power will play in the future. The exhibition doesn’t aim to provide answers but offers narratives on the various ways power is activated today and what could happen in the years to come.
The exhibition at Valssaamo showcases the work of the association’s members, as well as welcomes some international guests. Curated by Stockholm-based curator Anne Klontz, the event presents a diverse range of practices such as painting, sculpture, music, film and dance, and hosts a live art festival.
