HIAA Fest '25

This year Helsinki International Artists’ Association ry (HIAA) celebrates its fifth HIAA Fest event and alongside, some milestone achievements: HIAA has reached 200 members, and in 2025 it received its first ever grant from Taike (Subsidy for promoting cultural diversity and combating racism). Things to celebrate indeed!

Welcome to the grand opening on 26.11.2025 from 17.00 to connect with the artists. There will be music and dance performances, refreshments and celebrational cake. Without your support HIAA would never have gotten this far, so thank you!

Enjoy the programme of events throughout the festival time. All festival events welcome all ages! The location is accessible.

Thursday, 27th November

• at 13–14, Meet the Artists: Learn what the exhibited artworks are really about

• at 17–18.30, Spontaneous Drawing Tutorial. Workshop by Sini Kunnas - Learn to draw faces

Friday, 28th November

• at 13–14.30, Portfolio Review: Check out selected artists and their portfolios, listen to curatorial advice and discussion

• at 17–18, Meet the Artists: Learn what the exhibited artworks are really about

Saturday 29th November

• at 13–17.30 Artworks in Progress: Come and see how the art is created – selected artists will be working on their smaller projects, on-site, in the moment

Sunday 30th November

• 15–18, Community Dinner: Hangout, connect and network with artists (bring a potluck contribution)
