Nokia’s story is closely linked to Cable Factory.
In the early 20th century, Finnish Rubber Works acquired majority stakes in both Nokia and Finnish Cable Works Ltd. In 1967, the three companies merged to form Nokia Corporation.
Nokia’s computer business and mobile phone development also began at the Cable Factory.
The Nokia gallery presents Cable Factory’s industrial history through photographs and products on display in the historical showcase.
