NOM KOLLEKTIV: BODY OF LAW

Body of Law reflects on the relationship between society and the body in an ever-changing world, where people from different legal and bodily traditions are collided to form a common rule for physical existence. Is it relevant to consider why some body of law would be better than other ones? Do new possibilities for monitoring and censoring also give rise to a new kind of way of being, when everything we do can be monitored and the information obtained from it can be used for a myriad of different purposes? Body of law reflects on how this process of shaping social norms affects our bodily experience. Society seeks to limit and control the lifestyles of the individual in order to maximize a cost-effective Protestant workforce. These are also used to shape the model of the ideal body and to influence our daily physical existence. The work continues the research and creative process of the bodily thinking of the NOM KOLLEKTIV group.
