null&void, by Agata Siniarska, seeks to tell the stories of wartime mass destruction from the ground - from the perspective of landscapes, matter and non- humans and their constantly neglected voices. Warfare is a strictly anthropogenic phenomenon that weaves a whole network of human and non- human interconnections into its damaging effects. It involves the exploitation of natural resources driven by the capitalist imperative for economic growth that leads to armed conflict and the extermination of plant-animal-human ecosystems. It causes the long-term destruction of biodiversity, the pollution of air, soil and water. How to situate human in a humanless postwar landscape? How to seek the perspectives of non-humans while having a human body? How to hear and see more? How to try to tell these stories, knowing that this task is inherently burdened with an impossibility? Agata Siniarska works in the field of extended choreography. She places her practice between how we think about the world and how we move in it. It is a place where somatics and politics intersect.
