Electric vehicle recharging points
The Cable Factory has 14 EV recharging points on the Tammasaarenkatu side (the first parking bays from the museum corner onwards). The recharging points can also be used as block heater poles.
Cable Factory’s Schuko recharging sockets deliver a maximum charge of 3.7kWh. This is slow charging, so an EV has to be recharged overnight. Using the charging service at Cable Factory’s recharging points costs 0.20 € / kWh (incl. 24% VAT). The recharging service at the Cable Factory is run by Parkkisähkö Oy, a provider of carpark electricity solutions.
To start using the recharging points, tenants should pick up Parkkisähkö starter kit from Cable Factory’s Konttori. You can also order a starter kit on Parkkisähkö’s website. Starter kits are free of charge and, as well an identifier tag, include instructions for registration and use. To download these, you will need the Parkkisähkö mobile app.
Note: Cable Factory’s recharging points are always available for tenants and require a Cable Factory parking permit. For outside users, the recharging points are only available for recharging from 6 pm to 8 am.
